Pétanque is now played all over France. It originally was from Provence, in the South of France. You can see marvellous scenes in the Don Camillo films series with Fernandel.  Have a good time!

Well, it all depends on your tastes. If you like art and history, France has a lot to offer. I would recommend you to visit the City of Carcassonne and the Castles of the Cathars, in the South of France. It's just unforgettable!  I suggest you have a look at my articles here for off the beaten tracks vacations and marvellous destinations. Have a good day.
